This year feels A LOT hotter than last summer but I could just be a slight bit tanner. There is so much to do and see in and around Waco– even with the hot Texas temps! 

In Waco, the summers are hot and muggy and it is partly cloudy year round.The hot season lasts for about 3.6 months, from June 2 to September 20, with an average daily high temperature above 89°F. The hottest month of the year in Waco is July (Obviously), with an average high of 96°F and low of 76°F. Based on the beach/pool score, the best time of year to visit Waco for hot-weather activities is from late May to late September.

The beach/pool score favors clear, rainless days with perceived temperatures between 75°F and 90°F. Based on this score, the best time of year to visit Waco for hot-weather activities is from late May to late September, with a peak score in the third week of June.

10. Fourth on the Brazos: If you are looking for a way to celebrate the fourth of July, this is an awesome city-wide event! The annual Fourth on the Brazos takes place annually on July 4 at Touchdown Alley next to Baylor’s McLane Stadium, located at 1001 S. MLK Blvd., Waco. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza kicks off at 9:15 p.m. There will be live music, a corndog eating contest, and of course fireworks.
