April 1st: DIY Glowing Globe Lanterns

Location: West Waco Children's Area, Waco Library

Time: 10:00am - 6:00pm

Our friends at the Waco-McLennan County Library and Art Center Waco are even partnering with us to offer FREE lantern-making workshops, so you can be part of the parade!

April 4th: American Eclipse

Location: Falcon and Owl, 210 South 5th Street, Waco

An art exhibition featuring the works of Peter Robert Keil alongside a concert and conversation about the creation of a new musical, "American Eclipse." This is a once-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Peter in person and experience his art. April 4th:Color the Dark After Dark

location:Hotel Herringbone

The fun doesn't stop after dark! Stop by the new Hotel Herringbone for craft cocktails, music, and more! This event is free to the public. A concert and conversation about the creation of a new musical with award-winning artists David Baron (author), Michael John LaChiusa (composer/lyricist/librettist) and Bill Rauch (director).

April 5th: Live from Waco Eclipse Festival - FREE

Location: Indian Spring Park, Waco

Featuring performances by Band of Horses and Lukas Nelson, this event promises good times and great music along the downtown riverfront.Gates open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 7:30 p.m.

With a potent blend of country, rock, folk and blues — both bands define Americana music and are known for dynamic live performances, as they have toured internationally and headlined countless festivals.

April 5th: DEXTER AND THE MOONROCKS IN CONCERT

April 6th: Starfall Eclipse Ball

Location: Cultivate 7Twelve, Waco

An enchanting evening filled with fantasy-themed elegance and celestial marvels, perfect for embracing the enchantment of Eclipse Eve-Eve. Enjoy live harp music by Krista Hagglund then Dance the night away with Lucid Productions. There will be specialty drinks with Tres Mans Coffee and Tarot reading! 8-11 p.m.

April 7th: An American Eclipse

Location: Jones Theatre

A new musical exploring the ambitions, failures, and resilience of three American pioneers of science set in 1878. As the clock ticks down to the moment of the eclipse and the stunning, breathtaking event itself, relationships forged on the trek out west deepen and bloom, leaving each scientist and us to ask that ever-timely and magnificent question what and who makes America, America?

April 7th - Waco Lantern Parade and Riverfront Concert

Location: Waco Suspension Bridge and Indian Spring Park

Time: Gates open at 4:00pm, Music starts at 5:00pm, Parade at 9:00pm

Description: Light up the night on Sunday, April 7th, as the City of Waco hosts a magical walking lantern parade across the iconic Waco Suspension Bridge! Bring your family and friends and join us at Indian Spring Park for this unique experience, which includes a free riverfront concert featuring performances by Dwight Yoakam, Kaitlin Butts, and Ty Myers. Gates open at 4 p.m. with free admission, and the music starts at 5 p.m. The parade will commence at 9 p.m., followed by a cosmic, 300-drone aerial display. Don't miss this unforgettable evening of music, art, and spectacle along the beautiful Waco riverfront!

April 7th: Sci-Fi Spectacular: Sun, Moon, & Superstars

Location: Waco Hall

Enjoy music from your favorite sci-fi films accompanied by film insights from Emmy Award-winning journalist Gary Cogill.Hear music ranging from Star Wars and Star Trek to Interstellar and other sun and space-related pop music. Other special guests may be announced. All are welcome to come dressed as your favorite sci-fi character!

April 8th: Rooftop Eclipse Painting Party

Location: Tandem Rooftop Bar at the Hippodrome

April 8th: Main Eclipse Festival

Location: McLane Stadium, Touchdown Alley

An all-day event featuring telescopes, educational activities, food trucks, and family fun, culminating in the solar eclipse. Eclipse Over Texas: Live from Waco will feature astronomers onsite from Lowell Observatory and Baylor University. General admission tickets are available, with solar glasses included. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime celestial spectacle!

Free shuttle bus from downtown Waco begins at 8 am and ends at 5pm.
